Hi Kailas,

>> What should i asked to the client when i go to the client side for the database issues?

Good question!

1 - Does this happen all the time or sporadically?

2 - When did the problem start? What changed?

3 - What was the exact error message or message number?

4 - Can you reproduce it, right now?

5 - Does it work on some screens, but not others?

Systems Analysis & design is a 12 week class, it's hard to encapsulate into a forum answer!

This is the book I used when I taught S&A:

http://www.amazon.com/Structured-Systems-A...s/dp/0930196007

http://www.amazon.com/Physical-Database-De...s/dp/0849318173

Basicakly, you start by interviewing each ebd-user, ad what they do, and make a Data fow diagram (DFD):ease read:

http://dba-oracle.com/googlesearchsite_pro...-8&q=dfd%27

Here is what DFD's look like:

Good Luck!
