We are getting the below error in between from database.

The database throws the below error some times only not continuous.

ORA-12500, TNS:listener failed to start a dedicated server process

Error is intermittent , looks like database server dont have enough RAM to allocate for PGA when you are trying to execute any resource intensive program.

Yes, you are out of PGA RAM.

Implement dhared server until you can buy more RAM

Thanks my problem has resolved after reducing the size for below parameters

sort_area_size = 1048576
hash_area_size = 2097152

what to do for the perment solution .

In our databace there are around 300 sessions were in inactive state.

Add RAM. One meg for sorting is stingy! RAM is cheap AT $1,000 PER GIG.

Check to see if you are doing disk sorts with a STATSPACK or AWR report
