HI,

In one of the database, i noticed from the AWR report that the following query is consuming more CPU resource

BEGIN EMD_NOTIFICATION.QUEUE_READY(:1, :2, :3); END;

its module is : OEM.SystemPool
Oracle user executing the query is SYSMAN

Can you Please help me out to resolve and what the process the query is doing.

Hi Dhanasekar,

First, I would paste the AWR report into my STATSPACK analyzer at http://www.statspackanalyzer.com.

Here it is, in another thread, you need to recreate the OEM repository:

It is part of the database control in 10g. It uses advanced queueing for the OEM notifications - hence it's always looking to queue up those messages.

If you recreate the enterprise manager repository, it will fix the problem. This happens typically when the ALERT_QUEUE gets accidentally deleted. This is probably not an open issue anymore - but this is more for those who may be having the same problem.
