I have the following question, this problem meens that i have to grow the space in the tablespace but this tablespace is of RMAN true?, where Rman saves the backups?
SteveC
RMAN does not store the backups. It stores information about the backups. Read the documentation or buy a book.

"RMAN also reduces the administration work associated with your backup strategy. RMAN keeps an extensive record of metadata about backups, archived logs, and its own activities, known as the RMAN repository. In restore operations, RMAN can use this information to eliminate the need for you to identify backup files for use in restores in most situations. You can also generate reports of backup activity using the information in the repository."

>> have to grow the space in the tablespace

yes, you need to increase the size of your tablespace.

>> tablespace is of RMAN true
this tablespace/table is used by RMAN to keep track of your backup.

>> where Rman saves the backups?

RMAN saves data either on disk or on tape /media. we need to configure rman where it should store database's backup.

A question, RMAN uses the tablespace for saving the metadata, but where i define it?
Thank you for your time Asma.
