Full Version: Difficulity using EM to apply patch
Oracle DBA Forums > Oracle > Oracle Forum
Dr. Neko
I've been trying to apply a CPU patch via EM. I'm running Windows Server 2003 Standard R2 (AMD64 and EM64T). However, every time I have the job run and view the job porgress, I look at "checkTarget" (under Results), I would get this:

Status Scheduled
Targets testserver

Waiting for Output

Note: I set the schedule to immediate.

I've noticed under Staged Patch Location, it displays the path as follows:
C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_test/EMStagedPatches/6867056

Here's the Patch Summary setup:

I've been going through trial and error and made no progress. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Sorry, I have no idea what to do, except open an SR. . . .

This is one reason I don't like to use OEM, it's difficult to get feedback!

If you apply patches manually, at least you know where you are and what the issue is. . . .

Sorry that I cannot help . . .
