Will a 10g Listener work with an 8I Database. I created a 10g listene, but when I try to connect to my 8I database, I get the following error:

ORA-12519: TNS:no appropriate service handler

Can someone please help?

Oracle Net Services for 10g spans or covers to 8i, so the answer is yes. The error may be related to this:
