Full Version: Creating a Instance with Oradim
Oracle DBA Forums > Oracle > Oracle Forum
Hi guys

I need to create an instance with the oradim comand.

Thank You in advance
Permission granted.
Thank you but I need to know how now any one any documentation
what happens when you type oradim at the command line
"I need to create an instance with the oradim comand."

Well, you are screwed . . . .

Oradim will not create anything:
If I cant create the instance at least can I create an oracle service????
Have you not at least read the documentation for this very simple command? What part of using oradim do you not understand?
I have read the documentation in the previous posted link but there explains only how to startup and shotdown the database.
Not how to create a database or a service at least.
gee whizz -

type oradim at the command line, it will give you the options - oradim is on of the simplest tools to use and documented in a million places on the web - look it up and dont be lazy
