Hi All,
I am developing an application that generates queries at run time. I am using OTL(Oracle template library) for database related operations. Now the problem is that when application generates a select query and if the table has a column which has timestamp datatype then the application throws an exception (this exception contains empty message). Application generates insert and update query fine. Please help me in this.
Thanks,
Asif

What is the problem? Fix the application or alter the datatype.

Problem is when i generate the select statement OTL throws exception (in this exception the message is empty). I can't change the datatype but i am sure the problem is due to timestamp. I have changed the datatype just for sake of the testing, select query generated executed successfully. Is that driver problem or OTL ? Waiting for reply.
Thanks,
Asif
