Hi folks,

As cloud computing is gradually being adapted by enterprises,IT administration jobs are getting more centralized, automated and cost-saving. Thus , the role of CIOs,DBAs are getting changed. Even some experts predicted the disappearance of the post CIO. According to them the little bit of IT administration will be looked after by CTOs and practically CIOs will be of no need.

In this regard, will the MIS course which moulds students to future CIOs,DBAs see any decline in its demand? Or, How the MIS programmes are changing them with this kind of change of industry?

Regards,
Saikat
