Look in the documentation and read up on transportable tablespaces. Also look at endian and see if you need to convert that using the convert command in RMAN. If you don't need to convert the files (for you to look up and see one way or another), then why RMAN when you can use Data Pump?

Use CONVERT DATABASE command and read the following documentation:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_...191/dbxptrn.htm

You have that backwards!

See here, how to use RMAN to migrate from Windows to Linux:

http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_how_to_migrate..._using_rman.htm

Just reverse the targets . . . .
