Hi Soori,

>> Could some one please let me know how to add/ remove a column from a compressed partitioned table in oracle 9i.

Oracle DDL should be the same on a compressed table:

CODE
alter table fred drop column flintstone;
alter table fred add flintstone int;

http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_alter_table_drop_column.htm

http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_alter_table_ad...tax_example.htm

Hope this helps. . .
