The database is on an AIX 5.3 Operating system and I take an export backup on another server, this one is a windows 2003 server. The export backup runs through a script run by windows scheduler. The export process is getting killed by some OS process either on windws or on AIX.How can I find which one is actually killing it?

Hi Muneer,

I am assuming that the Wondows box triggers a AIX shell script, or a job in dbms_scheduler.

That's your first task, find the script and the expdp log file.

Check out the AIX fIle system for recent files added:

Good luck!
