we moved from AIX oracle system back in December to Linux oracle.
I am now looking at how to best cleanup old database's and ensure the data cannot be read by anyone.
Do I just delete from ASM? Then delete ASM?
how do I ensure that no one can come by later and still get data off the system?

Thanks

Hi Jenkins,

>> I am now looking at how to best cleanup old database's and ensure the data cannot be read by anyone.

If you still have the old system running, I would just drop the ASM tablespaces:

Then you can remove the ASM files . . .

Hope this helps . . .
