Hi Burleson,

I need your expert advice in implementing validation as rules residing in Oracle Tables.

We have a requirement from business, where in all the validations that needs to take place while loading data into the system should be configured inside database.

For example ,, data is uploaded using an excel template. Once the data is temporarily loaded into a table ,, we are thinking to use different functions to validate the data.

Although this will hit performance in case of high volumes, we dont see any other solution.

Could you please suggest any other way of achieving this?

Hi Sudha,

In pl/sql, all of the code is stored in the database.
